MSR/Answer/Pro Taper Create Benefit
for Injured Flagger
Motocross Accident
Leaves 15 Year Old Boy in Critical Condition
LAS VEGAS — February 16,
2011 — Kyle Crider, a 15 year old Las Vegas
native, was tragically injured while caution
flagging at a practice event at Boulder City
Motocross. Crider, a direct relative to the
facility owners, was unprotected and hit by an
oncoming motorcycle while attempting to flag for
a downed rider. Crider was transported via
helicopter to UMC Trauma in Las Vegas, where he
remains in critical condition. He suffers
multiple injuries, including head trauma and
brain swelling. Unfortunately, his family does
not have health insurance.
MSR, Answer Racing, and Pro
Taper have generously stepped up to aid the
family in time of need. Donated for auction, an
autographed James Stewart jersey, Kevin Windham
jersey, and Nick Wey jersey will be sold online
with all proceeds going directly to the family.
Additionally, signed Ryan Dungey bar pads will
be raffled at local facilities.
Boulder City Motocross
representative Bryce Davis commented, “It’s
tragic. Kyle is my cousin and it really opens
your eyes when something like this hits so close
to home. It’s great to see MSR, Answer and Pro
Taper lend out a helping hand in time of need.
His family is so extremely appreciative of all
the support they’ve gotten throughout this
horrible ordeal.”
The jerseys will be
auctioned on eBay, starting Monday, February 21,
2011 and running through February 28. The
auctions can be found by searching through eBay
using keywords “KYLE
CRIDER BENEFIT."
